Today I am showing you the scene of my village Varkana, District Pali 80 years ago where I was born during the famine of Vikram Samvat 1996. Small village with a population of 150-200 households My parents told me that that year was the worst famine of the century. There was also a shortage of paddy due to lack of grain production, which has not been raining for two years.
In my childhood, I had a terrible disease of smallpox, at that time it entered. There was a hospital in the town 30 miles away, where I used to take me in a bullock cart to see the doctor. By the grace of God I was saved.
At the age of six, my uncle got me admitted to the primary school in the nearby village of Bijowa, because in my village the high school run by the Jain community was conducted from class VI onwards. Bijowa village See the love of the old teacher of the school reaching the school after crossing the water channel from my village. I was with him in Delhi. After passing the fifth standard, I took admission in the sixth class in my own village. After 15 years, one met my friend’s sister’s wedding. Where he studied there till high school.
There was a procession from the groom’s side. I recognized them and hello
There is a Sukdi river near the village, which at that time started in the rainy season and flowed for four to five months. Therefore, washing and bathing used to take place on the river bank there. There was a rahat under the school, for the rest of the time he himself used to do the work of bathing and washing clothes, this was taught by the gurus.
There is a famous Jain temple in the village where the Jain Sahib’s box is located. Thanks a million to God. Since childhood, we used to see Jain travelers traveling by bus. During the study, holders, medicines were used from the beginning, they used to carry them from Swahi to the medicines. The love of teachers was like that of parents. At that time the financial condition of my father was not very good, so the teachers used to provide me with one book each. He used to study in the village under the light of lanterns and lamps. Father used to make agricultural implements for the farmers, so he would bring them from his farm, and the farmers used to give grain instead of wages, which lasted for a year. The railway station is five kilometers away from the village, where the manager of school boarding, who brought grocery, copy, stationery etc. on foot, was brought by the self of Jodhpur. Shri Sampatrajji was very good, who gave me son affection and kept giving guidance from time to time. You must have thought that while studying in class VIII, I would have thought that doctors, engineers could have become Jain community only, because at that time Again
So after passing 8th in a government job. Others would take care of their ancestors.
But by the grace of God, I was encouraged by good teachers and created an environment for further studies, taught and for that reason later in Jodhpur Engineering College.
During childhood, everything in the village was pure. Bringing water from the wells. There is greenery all around. At that time a double room was covered with tiles. So the elderly man slept with a cot in the street of the house. Haven’t seen any case of theft. The Thakur of the village was the judge of that time, who would decide the disputes among the people.
and introduced myself to them, they were so happy that I was invited to their Ramras Higher Secondary School no. Called in 3 and introduced me to his students in the class and then took me to his house where he introduced me to the family members, where is that love now?
