Government officials of Jangid Society

If you consider the state of Rajasthan, you will see that there are very few first class officers of the Jangid society. The reason for this is that students who are sharp intellects are not able to get college education due to financial constraints, so according to their skills, most of the students get engaged in factories or furniture businesses. Some of the students, who got their college education and cracked the All India level examinations on their own, were able to get government jobs. So first of all I would like to congratulate them on their success.

When working, posting/transfer is mostly due to political interference. Apna Samaj has not yet been able to dominate the political level, so the officers of other mature political caste get posting/transfer as per their wish, in which the officers of our caste are put in the second line.

Some officers support one political party during their tenure, they have to face the trouble of transfer when the opposition government comes. I myself got transferred 16 times in Rajasthan State Electricity Board during my tenure of 38 years.

Some Jangid officers want us to have got a high post, so we should serve the public. With this approach, they try to inculcate discipline, honesty and service spirit in the officers/employees in their offices and subordinate officers’ offices so that the work of the public can be done without any hassle. This behavior is not acceptable to the lowly officers subordinate to them and they fill the ears of the leaders of the ruling party. Secondly, when the officers try to get the public’s work done at a fast pace, then the people give less attendance to the leaders of the ruling party, that is, they reduce their stature, then they make false complaints to the minister for their political supremacy. The minister gets him transferred, because of this, due to this the officers of our society get frustrated.

There is a Marwari proverb ‘Jedo baje biro, badi leje od’.

That is, it is beneficial to walk in the direction of the wind. Meaning The interests of whichever ruling party’s political party is in the government will also have to be taken care of, while protecting yourself.

The second point is that when the officers of our caste start doing the work of the public at their own level, the subordinate officers get away by saying that our boss has given this work, not us. Then the wrath of the leaders becomes the officer of our society and the transfer happens to him and not to the officers below. This is my experience and you serving officers should think in this direction and if they get the work done by subordinate officers, then your work will be lightened, and if there is a complaint from the minister or chief minister from above, then you will investigate and submit the correct report then that subordinate officer will be saved and your work will not be affected. This is just my suggestion, do it if you like it.

In the end, I thank the members of Jangid Panchayat of Barmer district of Rajasthan, the Bhamashahs there, for making Jangid hostels in the education area and taking care of the accommodation, food and coaching arrangements for the students in it. Due to this, 5-6 Indian service officers of Jangid society are serving the state/country and making their name proud and making Jangid society proud.
